VShojo -- a leader in the livestreaming space -- asked me to redevelop their brand identity. Their branding needed refinement and clarity as they moved from being a startup to an established business. Originating in Japan, VTubing features online personalities using virtual avatars, freeing them from the constraints of their real-world identity. As one of the first agencies outside Japan to represent VTubers, VShojo brings this unique culture to a western audience.
They needed a logo that honored their roots and resonated with their community. Using their previous logo as a starting point we created new brand marks, motion, patterns, and layouts. This established a toolkit of material they could use for events, collaborations, social posts and more.
This rebrand has been well-received, with fans celebrating it during the last two Reddit r/place events. It has also supported VShojo’s growth, helping them secure $11M in seed funding.
